Interest Rates Historically Low
The news reported yesterday that interest rates are at an historic low - the 1950s was the last time they were this low.
We understand that people are fearful of making a home purchase with the state of affairs we are all in. However, a home is a necessity and if you can presently afford it, you may never see this opportunity come knocking again. The prices are very low (half of what they were in the heyday) and the interest is so low. If you have 3.5% to put down, you can buy a house, Why would you rent at this point?
We all need a place to live and if we can afford to have equity in our own home, why pay someone else's mortgage?
